Abby LeClair
Director of Programs and Engagement

From crafting engaging email campaigns to championing customer voices, Abby thrives at the intersection of marketing and technology. She started her career in 2011 as an early stage employee at Mailchimp, where she worked over 5 years across support, recruitment, and client strategy. She next spent 2 years at Invision, a design socialization and prototyping tool that allowed her to hone her skills working with remote teams and develop a deep understanding of design thinking and UX principles. In 2018 she stepped back into the world of automated messaging by joining Customer.io, where she discovered a deep interest in product strategy, and used her role as Voice of the Customer to create compelling cases for feature improvements and roadmap prioritization. Before joining EcMA in 2023, she spent 2 years working on implementation and new product experimentation at Attentive, where she became an expert in all things compliance in the SMS space. She’s particularly drawn to marketing orchestration and platform integration, primarily focused on allowing each tool in a tech stack’s strengths to shine as they work together. Today as the Director of Programs and Engagement with EcMA, she’s enjoying the opportunity to apply her experience towards building a passionate community of marketers and a better mobile future.

Abby attended Gordon State College in Barnesville, GA and has since obtained her CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) and ICP-APO (Agile Product Ownership) certifications.
